A friend sent me a birthday card recently telling me to rethink 50 as 10-10-10-10-10. It got me thinking that a lot has changed over the past decade. Ten years doesn’t sound like a long time, but there are so many changes and events that happen; there have been births, weddings, break ups, great fear and deaths that have affected my family.
It’s been said that the two most happiest times in an individual’s life is the day they were born and the day they discover why they were born. Have you ever questioned yourself, asking, “there has to be more to life than this?” It has to be more to life than just waking up day after day going to work coming back home going to sleep and doing it all over again. There has to be more to life than paying bills. There has to more to life than going to church or any other religious institution.
Why would a financial planner who specializes in retirement planning be telling you that financial plans are useless?
I don't think it was a big secret when Joan Rivers passed away that she was still working at the tender age of 81. And I'm pretty sure she didn't need the money! So the question I have for you is...Do you think Joan Rivers was a failure for not enjoying retirement? I could be wrong but I don't think so. To me, an incredible retirement means being able to do what you want, when you want, where you want.
